 Features and Constructions:

 The  Rosenberg  roof   fans   are  used   for  ventilation  of  department  stores, supermarkets, factories, swimming  pools, kitchens,   dining halls,   warehouses,  garages,  farms  and stables.  The fans  are  suitable for mounting on a flat or any shaped  roof.  The  fans  can  be  operated  up to  120°C (80°C if speed controlled)  as  the  motor is out of the air stream.

 Classification of the fan series:
 NRVU    = Non Residential Ventilation Units
  UVU    = Unidirectional Ventilation Units

 Reference to Directives:
  Declaration of incorporation and operating instruction are according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, CE dentification in accordance  to  EMC-Directive  2014/30/EU, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the Ecodesign-Directive 2009/125/EC.

  Side Panels for vertical discharge with 50mm sound absorbing and motor hood made of seawater resistant aluminium.

 Base frame
 Up to size 630: Baseframe with integrated inlet cone made of galvanized steel.
 From size 710: Baseframe with integrated inlet cone made of galvanized steel and plastic coated.

  Standard Coating RAL 7030 / RAL 7035 or other coating possible on request against extra charge.

  Bird Protection Grill:
  A coated grill RAL 9005 (black), ensures an optimal protection. Inlet grill possible on request.


 The  impellers  with  8  backward  curved  blades are made of sheet aluminium (AlMg3) and are statically and dynamically balanced with the hub according to quality standard G 6.3 to DIN 1940.


 Standard  IEC  three  phase  motors  in  size IMB5, protection  class  IP55,  1~230V/50Hz resp.  3~400V/50Hz.  Isolation class F. Standard  fan´s  motors  are  suitable  for  voltage control. Motors  for  frequency  control  are available as well as single and double speed motors.

 Up to size 450 and 500D [400V]:
 Motors  are  suitable  for  voltage control in size IMB5, protection class IP55, 1~230V/50Hz resp. 3~400V/50Hz. Insolation class F. Motor protection by thermal contacts.

 Size 500E [230V] and from size 560:
 IEC-standard  motors  in  size  IMB5, protection  class  IP55,  1~400V/50Hz. Isolation  class F. Motor  protection by PTC resistors.

 Electrical connection:

 The  wiring  box  of   the   motor   is   easily   accessible. The motor has to be connected according to the wiring  diagram and  in  accordance  with  valid  regulations  and  local  laws. In  case  of operation with frequency converter please check the operation manual.

  Please note the directives 1253/2014/EU (Lot 6) applying from 01.01.2016 for the ventilation units (ventilation fans).
  Keyword: „Multi-stage drive" (at least 3 fixed speeds, as well as speed 0  („off"). Suitable control and regulation devices are available as accessories.

 Important Notes:

 Air performance curves:

  The performance curves for these fan types have been measured on a inlet side chamber testing platform according to DIN ISO  EN  5801 in mounting position A (free inlet; free outlet) and are valid for air with a density of 1.2 kg/m³ and indicate the pressure increase Dpfa as a function of the air flow.

 Noise levels:
  The  bordered  values printed in the performance curve diagrams show the A weighted LWA8 sound power level (fan outlet).
  Determination of A-weighted LWA5 sound power level at fan inlet according to DIN 45 635, Part 38 is calculated as follows:

 LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA6 [dB(A)] -3dB

  The "A" weighted sound pressure level LPA at a distance of 1 meter is calculated approximately by deducting 7 db(A) from the "A" weighted  sound  power  level. It  is  important to note that the reflection and room characteristic as well as natural frequencies  influence  the  sound  pressure  levels  a  different  way. The octave sound power level LWA at octave medium frequency you can find on the table on each fan type page.

  Rosenberg fans have a specific (pressure-) ratio < 1,05 (pressure < 5000 Pa).

 For  maximum  service life of Rosenberg products please beware of the maintenance hints on the manual for each product type.

 For recycling and disposal of Rosenberg products comply with applicable locally requirements and regulations.
