Duct fans

EC Duct fan (Type: KHAG)

Casing

The casings are made of galvanised sheet steel, formed as a rectangular duct, for direct installation in air ducts in any position. Suction and pressure side equipped with standard flanges. The complete motor-impeller unit can be folded out for cleaning purposes. The sound-proofed series (..WS) provides extremely low noise values with a space-saving, sound-absorbing perforated plate coating at concise points. The fans are only suitable for indoor installation.

Impellers

Aluminium sheet impellers (ALMg3) with backward curved blades are used. The impellers are mounted directly on the rotors of the external rotor motors and are dynamically balanced on two levels with the rotor according to quality level G2.5 as per DIN ISO 1940.

Electrical connection

Integrated motor protection is indicated via an alarm relay. In the “open loop” (standard) model, the speed is continuously provided by a 0-10V signal or a potentiometer (accessory). 

Direction of rotation

The direction of rotation is clockwise as seen from the suction side.
