Lubrication for Motor for Rosenberg Fans for smaller size motors
Smaller size motors (frame sizes D63-D225), bearings are "Seal for life" and should be replaced at the following regular intervals
+ 2P after 24,000 hrs. operation.
+ 4P after 33,000 hrs. operation.
+ 6P after 35,000 hrs. operation.
+ 8P after 35,000 hrs. operation.
The figures shown above are for fans/motors installed in ideal condition, like in-door application.
At the end of the grease usage period, and also because of ageing of the grease, in standard applications, it is recommended to replace the bearings after approx. 27,000 hours.
For out door application, it could requires to change the motor bearings earlier due to the unredictable hot, dry and wet weather conditions.
Depending on the motor used, larger kW motor will needs re-lubrication.

For re-grease bearings, the specified greasing intervals must be complied with.
Recommended Grease to be used.
+ Class F insulation motor
155 degrees Celsius S1 duty:
Brand: Shell, Name: Gadus S3 V100 or S2 V100 3
+ Class H insulation motor
250 / 300 degrees Celsius:
Brand / Name : Molykote DC-41 Grease.
Brand: Tacbecon, Name: SGHT 600,
