Dismantling procedure of Axial and Bifurcated fans Rosenberg

 Place the fan in horizontal position.

 Remove the bolt, locking washer and keeper plate from the motor shaft.

 Remove the HEX nuts (2 numbers) from the impeller bush.

 Use one of the hex nuts and tighten it to the center hole of the bush. This will

separate the impeller from the motor shaft.

 Remove the impeller and hub assembly off the motor shaft

 Remove the bolts and nuts (4 numbers) from the motor base

 Remove motor from the fan case (Motor compartment)

Position the motor in its compartment

 Slightly tighten with its bolts and nuts (4 numbers)

 Fit the impeller and hub assembly on to the motor’s shaft

 Insert the shaft key in its correct position

 Tighten the impeller and hub assembly with its HEX nuts

 Refit the bolt, locking washer plate into the motor shaft

 Relocated the motor centrally to ensure each impeller tip and the inside face of the

fan case has a gap clearance (approximately. 3 to 8mm depending upon diameter)

 Tighten the bolts and nuts on the motor’s base

 Spin the impeller by hand to confirm free rotation

 Check once again to ensure all the bolts and nuts are fully tighten

Note:

 Alignment is not required as the impeller assembly is directed to the motor shaft

 Always replace motor bearings if the fan is dismantle
